The children's sessions are designed as a mixture of play and conversational English for children who are of school age - Learning Through Play for ages 5-11 years.

This group is designed to give our younger members a chance to practise their spoken English. We aim to provide fun activities and play, to develop confidence and improve fluency. We include basic phonics with some reading and writing skills as appropriate. We use both our inside and outside spaces for games, art and craft, sports, science experiments, table top games and lots of other activities. We would love to welcome your children to come and have fun.

We also offer a place to do homework and be supported 1-1.

Our older children 11 plus can attend the more structured adult sessions and join us for play afterwards if they would like to. This often happens during our monthly outside classroom sessions where we build tents, light fires and have hot chocolate.

Refreshments and drinks are provided.

Meet our fantastic and lovely children team, our children sessions are educational and fun, it is a safe place for children who are often nervous at first but settle down and love the games, being with other children from Ukraine and learning English through play.
