Warrington MELA 2024

On Sunday 15th September Warrington Mela was a successful multicultural festival featuring arts, music, dance, and food, highlighting the diversity of the town and fostering community connection through the efforts of new organisers and the support of Culture Warrington, the Arts Council, and the local council. The event aimed to be more inclusive and safer, offering more cultural activities than in previous years.

We were honoured to have "Radists" a traditional Ukrainian Folk dance group participate in the event along with Taras Shalaiev from our community playing the Bandura.

Dispite the weather it was a fantastic event for everyone.
